We answer the phone for the trades

AIR CONDITIONING & HVAC

The AC died at six on a Tuesday in August. They are calling three companies.

A text back on every missed call, nights and weekends covered, and booking in both languages, for AC companies across west Miami-Dade.

THE FAILURE

The window is minutes, not hours

Nobody plans an AC repair. The unit stops. The house is 90 degrees by evening. Somebody starts dialing.

They do not leave a voicemail and wait. They hang up and call the next number, and the one after that, until somebody picks up. The company that answers gets the job. The other two never know they were called.

This is the least forgiving phone in the trades. And most companies run it off a cell phone in somebody's pocket under a house.

WHAT WE BUILD

Eight tools, one phone that never rings out

01

A text back within a minute of the missed call, in the language they called in. A real arrival window, not a promise to call back.

02

Nights and weekends covered, because August does not keep business hours, and neither does a landlord with an angry tenant.

03

A voice agent that takes the address, the unit, the type of system and a callback number. It works while every tech you have is on a roof.

04

Maintenance plan renewals that go out on their own, so that steady income stops depending on somebody remembering.

05

Landlord and property manager records that hold more than one address, so a repeat caller is not a new lead every time.

06

A clean hand-off to ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro or Jobber, so the job starts with the address and the history already filled in.

Spanish stays Spanish, start to finish

In this market the call often comes in Spanish, and the person calling is often speaking for a tenant or a parent. An English-only auto-reply says: this company is not for us.

Spanish stays Spanish here: the text back, the arrival window, the reminder, the voice agent and the invoice follow-up. Whoever picks it up can keep the call in Spanish.

COMPLIANCE

What we do about the texting rules

Texting customers has rules. Phone carriers block business texts from numbers that are not registered, and federal law (the TCPA) says what you may send and when.

We register your number during setup. Every text carries your company name and a STOP option. Quiet hours are set. The messages stop the moment somebody replies or books.

Your customers' permission to be texted is yours to keep, not ours. We say so plainly on the Texting Rules page instead of letting you find out during a dispute.

We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice. Your rules, your training and your team are yours.

WHERE WE WORK

Built for west Miami-Dade. Works across South Florida.

Each area loses work in its own way, so each page says something specific and true about it.

Hialeah, Kendall, Westchester and Doral have their own pages too. Outside those? The setup is the same, and it works anywhere in South Florida. See all four trades.
