The storm took the fence down last night. They are calling every fence company they can find.
A text back on every missed call, storm weeks covered, and booking in both languages, for fence companies across west Miami-Dade.
The fence is down and the dog is loose
After a storm, the fence is the first thing people see. Panels down, a gate that will not close, a dog that cannot go outside. Somebody starts dialing.
They do not leave a voicemail and wait. They call the next number, and the one after that. A pool owner who needs a fence before an inspection does the same. The company that answers gets the job. The others never know they were called.
And the phone is in somebody's pocket, next to a post hole digger. Nobody hears it ring.
One phone that never rings out
A text back within a minute of the missed call, in the language they called in. It asks for the address, the kind of fence and about how long it runs, so you call back ready.
Storm weeks covered, and nights and weekends too. After a hurricane, every caller gets an answer and goes on a repair list in order, even when you cannot get there yet.
A voice agent that takes the address, the fence type, photos by text and a callback number. It books the estimate visit. It does not quote the work. That stays with you.
Permit and HOA steps kept on the job. When you move a job forward, the customer gets a text: permit filed, HOA approved, install day set.
Property manager and association records that hold more than one address, so a repeat caller is not a new lead every time.
A clean hand-off to Jobber or Housecall Pro, so the job starts with the address, the photos and the notes already filled in.

Spanish stays Spanish, start to finish
In this market the call often comes in Spanish. The person calling may be the owner, a tenant, or a daughter calling for her father. An English-only auto-reply says: this company is not for us.
Spanish stays Spanish here: the text back, the visit time, the permit update, the reminder, the voice agent and the invoice follow-up. Your crew lead can keep the call in Spanish.
What we do about the texting rules
Texting customers has rules. Phone carriers block business texts from numbers that are not registered, and federal law (the TCPA) says what you may send and when.
We register your number during setup. Every text carries your company name and a STOP option. No texts go out between 8 PM and 8 AM. The messages stop the moment somebody replies or books.
Your customers' permission to be texted is yours to keep, not ours. That matters most after a storm, when lists get built in a hurry. We say so plainly on the Texting Rules page instead of letting you find out during a dispute.
We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice. Your rules, your training and your team are yours.

We confirm each one on the call before you sign anything. This is a starting point, not a certified list.
Built for west Miami-Dade. Works across South Florida.
Each area loses work in its own way, so each page says something specific and true about it.
Sweetwater
Dense and mostly rented. The caller is often a landlord with a fence down between units, and the job goes to whoever answers.
West Miami
A square mile of 1950s houses on older lots. Referral work, gate repairs, and fence quotes that close over weeks.
Fontainebleau
Condo and association work, where the caller is a property manager and a new fence often needs board approval first.
Hialeah, Kendall, Westchester and Doral have their own pages too. Outside those? The setup is the same, and it works anywhere in South Florida. See all the trades.
Questions we get on this call
Nobody has to stop. A missed call gets a text back within a minute. The voice agent takes the address, the fence type and photos while your crew keeps working.
Every caller gets a reply and goes on a repair list in order, with the address and photos if they send them. You decide who gets a visit first. The text never promises a time you did not set.
No. It takes the details and books an estimate visit. Pricing a new fence or a gate repair is your call, after you see and measure the job.
Yes. When you move a job to the next step, the customer gets a text in their language: permit filed, HOA approved, install day set. You do not have to call each one.
Good. This sits in front of it and hands over jobs already booked, with the address, photos and notes filled in. We confirm the setup on the call.
Maybe. If your phone is already answered every time it rings, this buys you less than it costs, and we will say so on the call.
