We answer the phone for the trades

TRUST · HOW WE WORK

Did your CRM vendor build it, or license it?

Most CRMs sold to contractors are built on somebody else’s platform, ours included. That is a normal way to do it. Here is what it means for what you are actually buying.

Short version: we did not build the engine under YaContesta.pro. We license it, set it up for trade contractors, and support it from South Florida. The platform is named, with the data it handles, on our Texting Rules page.

How most of these are actually built

A lot of the CRMs sold to trade contractors are set up on top of a handful of platforms. You can usually tell once you have seen a few. The job board, the automation builder and the form editor tend to look alike from one product to the next.

There is nothing wrong with that. A mature platform gets you reliable texting, phone service, uptime and security. A small team could not build or maintain that on its own. The part worth being straight about is the arrangement itself. It is hard to check from the outside, and unwelcome to find out after signing.

What we actually sell

The engine is licensed. You are paying us for everything between that engine and a working phone system for your company. Plus somebody in your time zone to call when it breaks.

  • The setup: booking questions, job board steps, routing rules and follow-up texts, set up for your trade, in both languages.
  • The Spanish: both languages from one setup, with the language saved on the first contact and carried through every later message.
  • The carrier registration: getting your number registered so the phone carriers do not quietly block your texts.
  • Support: people in South Florida, in your time zone, who know the trades here.

WHAT A RESELLER IS

A company that licenses a platform and sells a set-up, supported version of it. What matters to a buyer is not whether the vendor built the engine, because almost none of them did. It is whether they say so, and what they add on top.

Why a plain platform account is not the same thing

You can license a plain account on most of these platforms directly, and for some companies that is the right answer. What you get is an empty system and the job of setting it up.

If you have someone in-house who can set it up and keep it running, that route makes sense. We would say so on a call. If not, the comparison is not our price against a plain license. It is against that license plus the months of setup.

On compliance claims

No CRM is “TCPA compliant” on its own, ours included. Following the rules is something your company does, not a feature a product has. It is shared three ways. The platform sends the messages. We register and set it up. Your company owns the permission behind every number it texts.

What we can say plainly. Your number is registered with the carriers before the first text sends. STOP requests are honored across every message, including ALTO and PARE. Quiet hours are built in. What no vendor can do is create permission you did not collect.

Why we say it up front

Mostly because finding out later feels like being played, and that is a poor way to start a multi-year relationship. If you want the platform’s name and the data it handles, it is on the Texting Rules page.

Questions we get asked about this

Did YaContesta.pro build its own software?

No, and we say so on the site, not in a footnote. The platform is HighLevel. We set it up, build on it and support it. You are paying for the setup and the support, on a platform that did not need to be invented.

Is it bad if a contractor CRM runs on another platform?

No. A mature platform gives you reliable texting, phone service, uptime and security. A small company could not build that on its own. What matters is whether the vendor tells you, and what they add on top.

Why not just buy a plain account on the platform?

Some companies should, and we will say so on a call. A plain account is a blank slate built for marketing agencies and online stores. No trade job questions, no dispatch steps, no Spanish routing, no after-hours emergency path, and no texting rules set up.

Is any CRM legal for texting on its own?

No. Following the rules is something you do, not a feature you buy. A platform can register your number, honor STOP and keep quiet hours, and ours does. But whether you had permission to text someone is about your relationship with that person. No software can hold that for you.
